The Homedics Brethe air cleaning revitalizer uses a fine spray of water to wash out dirt and dust particles out of the air inside the unit.
This type of air cleaning technology is very similar to Air Scrubbing technology that is used in large industrial and electrical generation plants to clean air prior to release into the environment. Since the Brethe Air Revitalizer is only meant to clean dust and particles out of household air, the unit takes advantage of all the advantages of such an approach with little disadvantages of large scale industrial use.
